Wildtree Freezer Meal Workshop – A couple of months ago my sister introduced me to Wildtree, I really had NO clue what it was, something about organic, kind of like tastefully simple, and they do freezer meal workshops. Ok, I’m in! My sister and I usually do a freezing cooking session together at least once a year, and we haven’t had one in awhile, so this sounded like a great way to force ourselves to schedule and do a freezer cooking session.
Last month we did one at my house, we did the “Figure Friendly” workshop. I’ll be honest and say that when I first got the “Prep” sheet that needed to be done before the session, I was a little turned off. But we already committed, so I did it. And it really wasn’t that bad. It took maybe 1 hour to do all the chopping of veggies, and putting the meat into different baggies. Then I was done. When I looked at all the baggies I was pretty impressed. 20 Meals, nice. Figure Friendly – Freezer Inventory
Here’s how it works:
Wildtree’s “Figure Friendly” Freezer Meal Workshop! Come prepare 10 HEALTHY meals in just about an hour to take home and share with your family, all for less than $3.50 per serving. It’s that easy and sure to be the most fun you’ll ever have making dinner!
Here’s how it works.
1) You purchase Wildtree’s “Figure Friendly” product bundle.
2) You come to the workshop with your bags filled with designated “protein” and other ingredients.
3) You go home with 10-20 freezer meals (with leftover Wildtree products to make more freezer recipes or use on your own.) **I split mine into 20 because with it only being Me, the Hubs and Little B, we don’t eat that much. You would 10 if you had a family of 5 or 6 …. or one teenager.
4) You’ll also go home with side dish recipes to either accompany your freezer meals, or use with other meals…and the peace of mind knowing that dinner is already DONE!
Here’s what we’ll be making:
1 Garlic & Herb Roasted Pork Chops
2 Shrimp Scampi
3 Italian Chicken Tenders
4 Lemon Rosemary Crock-Pot Pork
5 Opa! Greek Kabobs
6 Zesty Lime Fajitas
7 Greek Chicken Burgers
8 Baked Chicken Scampi
9 Herb Crusted Tilapia
10 Easy Tacos
Workshop Bundle – $79
I forgot to take a picture of my baggies, but my BFF did not forget, here’s what her’s looked like.
Then this month Tracey did it at her house, and we did the “21 Day Fix Friendly” session. LOVED this one! And I still haven’t even finished all of my meals for last month, so I have a very healthy selection of freezer meals now ready to go thru the holidays. Score!
I highly recommend trying this. It is a little pricey to start. The kit we needed to purchase for each session was about $75. The meat totaled about $90. So for 20 meals it cost roughly $165. Which when you break it down is only $8.25 a dinner for the meat. Not bad at all! And these were nice cuts of meat.
I just paired most of the meats with a veggie steamer and we were good to go. The Hubs LOVED it, which I was worried at first that anything labeled “Healthy” and “Organic” would be way too pricey and not be that great. Totally wrong, seriously wrong. It’s impressive however that Wildtree lady who started it did the seasonings, they are amazeballs!
