I love finding great products that actually work! So I want to share my great finds… most of which were found after many failed products ahead of them… so I’m saving you the time and the money. Get the good stuff the first time, you won’t regret it!
Oreck Magnesium Vacuum – This vacuum is SO light, seriously sooo light. I have no issues bringing it up and down the stairs. It also vacuums like a dream, on carpet and even wood floors. I have a vacuum fetish, and I’ve gone through Kirby’s, Shark’s, Dyson’s, Hoover’s… none came even close to the Oreck.
Touch Mineral Liquid Foundation – This stuff is amazing! As you can see, it’s all completely OUT OF STOCK. So when it comes back in stock, do yourself and your face a favor… and order it. It makes you look flawless, and this is coming from a “makeup challenged” person. I’ve never been able to make my makeup look good. But this… this makes me look amazing. It doesn’t wear off, you can sweat, cry, have a full day of work and kids, and it just keeps going.
Finding Spiritual Whitespace – I am currently reading this book, and loving it. I am someone who has 4 “to do” lists going on at any given time. (work, kids, house, and financial) But lately I’ve been feeling so overwhelmed. Like, ready to give up on life and go move into a mud hut overwhelmed. This book came across my radar and I grabbed it and have been loving it. It reminds me to slow down and to remember to give myself some “white space”. The past 2 weeks I have spent my Sunday’s doing absolutely nothing, and it’s been soo amazing. I actually feel ready for Monday after spending my Sunday resting.
Think of these little guys as the “window that goes up in the limo”. I get instant peace! My 4 year old puts these on to watch his movies, play his games on the Ipad and I enjoy perfect peace and quiet. It’s a beautiful thing. At home, in the car, at the restaurant. I have no shame, I enjoy those quiet moments to the max! Get yourself some!
Organize Tomorrow Today Book – Another great book for my overwhelmed state! This has truly been helping. Of the many things I’ve taken from this book, the main thing is this: Everyday write down your #1 MUST DO, and then 3 things that you need to get done. If nothing else, make sure you get those 4 items done, the MOST important items and then fill in your day with the rest of the little stuff that you want to get done, but that won’t make a huge difference if you don’t get to it. Make sense? Mainly this keeps you from doing all that little crap all day that you end up getting sucked into that… really…. won’t make your check any fatter or your heart any fuller. Think of those two things before you make your list in the morning or the day before.
And…… drum roll….
Binge watching “Last Man Standing” on Netflix. I started from season 1 and now am into season 2. Hubby and I enjoy watching it together. It’s refreshing to watch a good family show again. I miss the old Tool Time’s! But this is a great show, I can’t believe I haven’t watched it before!
